I’m a Director of Photography with over 15 years’ experience, specialising in adventure storytelling.
With credits including National Geographics Bear Grylls, Netflix and the BBC's Traitors, I combine cinematic visuals with technical precision, capturing powerful stories wherever they unfold — from harsh wilderness locations to fast-moving expedition shoots.
I came into the industry later than most. My twenties were spent travelling the world — living out of bags, chasing experiences, and documenting everything along the way.
Photography was always the constant. It was never just a hobby — it was how I saw and understood the world. Moving into camera operating felt like a natural step: a way to combine that instinct with a career that kept me out in the environments I love.
Since then, I’ve built a career across a wide range of genres, including adventure, documentary, factual entertainment, drama, and reality television. I’ve been fortunate to work with major broadcasters and platforms including Netflix, BBC, Amazon Prime, Channel 4, ITV, and YouTube.
While I’m comfortable across all formats, my focus has always been on stories that push boundaries—physically, emotionally, and geographically. Whether filming in extreme environments or capturing intimate, human moments, I aim to bring a cinematic, grounded feel to every project.
Adventurer emains at the core of what I do: working in challenging locations, solving problems on the move, and helping tell stories that feel real, raw, and earned.
Most recently, I completed work as Director of Photography on Season 9 of Running Wild with Bear Grylls, now airing on FOX and Disney+ (Hulu). The series continues to push into extreme environments, demanding a balance of cinematic storytelling and fast-moving, reactive shooting.
I’m currently filming a new series in the United States, continuing my focus on high-end factual and adventure-led content.
Earlier this year, I worked in Chile on the filming of the World’s Highest Marathon attempt—an extraordinary project that has since set a new world record. Shot at extreme altitude, the production required careful planning, adaptability, and a stripped-back, resilient approach to filming in one of the harshest environments on Earth.
Across recent projects, my work has centred on capturing authentic moments in demanding conditions—combining technical precision with a flexible, story-first approach.
